19th Annual Night at the Races

It's time once again for the Night at the Races, sponsored by the Lewisville Lions Club. This year's event will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, at 6:30 PM at Celebrations in Highland Village, Texas (map). We have a fun-filled evening planned, with great food and lots of prizes.

The Night at the Races is the major fundraiser for the Lewisville Lions Club. What started as a few people grilling steaks at the VFW has become a sumptuous buffet and cash bar catered by the Village Grill. Dinner is followed by video horse racing with vigorous betting, plus a silent auction.

All the proceeds from this event go toward providing help to those in need within our community. Our generosity extends to:

• Provide Scholarships for the Students of LISD
• Fund various Lion charities:
  • Lions Organs and Eye Bank
  • Texas Lions Camp
  • Julian C Hyer International Youth Camp
  • Leader Dog for the Blind
  • Sports Extravaganza for the visually challenged
• We provide eyeglasses for the students of LISD in need
• Supply the Salvation Army Food Pantry
• Christmas bundles for those in need
• Support the Children's Advocacy Center
• Support Pedi Place
• And generally aide those in need in our community
